Otsamo fell

Description:
The trail passes through a pine forest and crosses strams over a wooden bridge or causeways. The River Juutuanjoki can be glimpsed through the trees from time to time and the roar of the Jäniskoski Rapids can be heard. The trail reaches the River Juutuanjoki and after a fireplace begins climbing. The forest thins out and is replaced by sparse birhces. The top of the fell is above the timberline. Otsamo Fell offers an excellent view of the surrounding scenery, including Lake Inari, the River Juutuanjoki, Lake Muddusjärvi and neighbouring fells. Return by the same route.
