Nuorgam
is small, Finland’s and EU’s northernmost village. Nuorgam lies on the bank
of Europe’s best Salmon River Teno. Nuorgam is on the border of Norway, just
nearby Arctic Ocean. Nuorgam is one of the three villages in Utsjoki municipality.
In Nuorgam there is 250 inhabitants and their sources of living are trading
with Norwegians and travelling services (accommodation, restaurant and guide
services). In Nuorgam people speak Finnish, Sámi and Norwegian in their everyday

Lake Pulmankijärvi and its beautiful river valley with its gorgeous landscapes

From Nuorgam village it is good to do day trips to Norway and to Arctic Ocean
for example to different resorts by Varanger fjord. Other attractions in Nuorgam

willow grouse hunting, bird watching in Varanger area, hiking, fishing in Arctic
Ocean and snowmobiling in real northernmost Lapland.
