An interesting new permanent exhibition has opened on the shores of the majestic LAKE INARI, in the heart of Northern Lapland which is becoming ever more interesting to tourists.
Design House Idoli has chosen 10 Finnish design Idols - eight designers and two design focused businesses - and put their products on display in the "Lappi - Loft - Space". The building, made of natural Lappish stone, wood, concrete and railroad rails, blends in exeptionally well with the surrrounding arctic nature.
The intention is to offer something new to the classic Lapland experience - here visitors can experience modern Finnish design surrounded by the stunnig arctic nature which has been an inspiration for designers through the ages.
